Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
Has undertaken line management training or has experience of line management
Evidence of continuing professional development.
Relevant Masters Qualification

Experience

Essential criteria

Significant experience working in community pharmacy, general practice or primary care medicines optimisation
Understanding of how primary care functions
Good knowledge of NHS policy relating to prescribing and pharmacy services
Knowledge of current medicines optimisation policies in the NHS
Experience in implementing complex audits.
Knowledge of prescribing data sources (e.g. ePACT2) and their use in improvement

Skills

Essential criteria

Clear communicator with excellent writing, report writing and presentation skills; capable of constructing and delivering clear ideas and concepts concisely and accurately for diverse audiences
Demonstrates ability to use skills to make decisions in complex situations where there are several factors that require analysis, interpretation and comparison
Stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
Ability to analyse numerical and written data, assess verbal, written, numerical and draw appropriate conclusions.
