9 month rotations covering: Medical wards, ED, Acute Stroke Unit, ESD and Farnham hospital
Are you an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Physiotherapist looking to step up into a rotational Band 6 role? Do you enjoy clinical problem-solving, collaborative multidisciplinary working, and delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment focusing on rehabilitation?
We are seeking a motivated Band 6 Rehabilitation rotational physiotherapist to join our Physiotherapy Team based from Frimley Park Hospital but with rotations to community team and Farnham.
You are required to take part in the respiratory on call rota as part of the working pattern.
You must be available to attend interview in person.
Main duties of the job
- To complete 9 month rotations
- To provide a high standard physiotherapy service in assessing and treating patients who may have a complex presentation.
- To supervise and teach recently qualified physiotherapists/technicians/assistants and students and be involved in teaching MDT staff.
- To participate in CPD and other departmental activities.
- Deliver high-quality physiotherapy services, assessing and treating patients, including those with complex needs, using evidence-based practice.
- Undertake comprehensive patient assessments, formulate individualised management and treatment plans, and implement a range of specialised interventions.
- Maintain professional and legal accountability for all aspects of clinical practice, including accurate patient documentation and adherence to professional guidelines.
- Demonstrate expertise in clinical governance and risk management, ensuring that treatment plans are supported by current evidence.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- HCPC Registration.
- Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy.
Desirable criteria
- Member of relevant clinical interest group.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Completion of band 5 rotations. This includes experience in the relevant clinical areas, General Medicine, Orthopaedics, Surgical/ICU, Elderly Care, Neuro, Outpatients.
- Training and supervision to support for all physiotherapy staff and students.
Desirable criteria
- Band 5 experience in acute NHs hospital.
- Experience of research & audit.
Skills
Essential criteria
- Organisational skills.
- Supervisory and appraisal skills
- Interpersonal skills including clear, concise and effective verbal and written reports
- Teaching skills
Desirable criteria
- Basic management skills.
- Basic knowledge of health legislation.
