Band 8a Senior Digital Project Manager
The Senior Digital Project Manager will have responsibility for managing allocated programmes and associated projects through their lifecycle from inception to delivery.

Main duties of the job
- The role will include project managing the continued implementation of an EPR optimisation programme (SystmOne).
- The role involves programme and project management in a complex organisation, working across organisational boundaries.
- Manage significant large scale digital projects within and across the Trust, following a clear programme and project management methodology.
- The Senior Digital Project Manager will be an integral member of the wider Digital team providing comprehensive and effective project management services for the trust.
- The post holder will drive and coordinate the planning and delivery of a range of Digital projects (priority projects will be identified by the Digital Leadership Team and include the Adapt SystmOne optimisation programme).
- The postholder will develop project plans with appropriate milestones, phasing, and interdependencies to ensure the critical path is mapped using appropriate project planning approaches.

- Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience
- Certification in Project Management (PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile Project Management, MSP or similar) or equivalent experience

- Experience of managing complex digital project(s)
- Experience of using programme and project management approaches such as PRINCE2 and/ or Managing Successful Programmes (MSP)
- Specialist knowledge of project management standards and principles and the ability to apply and explain them in non-routine situations to senior managers and clinicians
- Experience of managing budgets or finances associated with a Programme/Project/ Team
- Experience of analysing, interpreting, and presenting data
- Experience of producing project/ programme status and update reports
- Experience of working with multidisciplinary teams at varying levels of seniority and a commitment to partnership working
- Experience of managing stakeholders up to and including Executive level, sometimes with strong competing views, to build and gain consensus to enable decisions to be progressed to boards for approval
- Experience of developing, tracking and managing both risks and issues within projects
- Experience of developing benefits profiles and managing programme and project benefits through the project lifecycle
- Experience of business process improvement
- Establishing, preparing for, running programme and project boards
