EHR Development Specialist - Band 6 - Full Time - Permanent

Working as a EHR Development Specialist you will be part of the EHR team developing successful digital solutions across the trusts EHR estate.

You should have, or be developing, an awareness of lean and agile methods and using a shared toolkit of techniques, processes and systems. You will be expected to be flexible and will be comfortable working on different projects and services as business priorities and demands change. 

Provisional Interview Dates - 25th and 26th November.

Provisional Assessment Date - 1st December

Candidates who are successful after the initial interview stage will be invited to further complete a relevant skills assessment.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will: 
• Develop solutions based on evidence of user needs and organisational outcomes. 
• Work with the team to develop design ideas and improvements. 
• Prototype design ideas in various methods including configuration in the demo environment.
• Interpret evidence-based research and include it in their work. 
• Support the values and standards of inclusive and accessible design.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Degree level education or equivalent relevant experience
  • Qualification or equivalent experience demonstrating proficiency in clinical systems (especially SystmOne e.g. Train the Trainer)
  • Evidence of continued professional development

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience working with TPP SystmOne
  • Experience building solutions within a digital healthcare environment
  • Experience working in or alongside clinical, digital, or operational teams
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse problems and contribute to solution design
Desirable criteria
  • User experience, IT, health informatics, or service design is desirable but not essential
  • Experience working with any kind of digital systems, configuration tools, or data platforms is advantageous
  • NHS or healthcare experience is beneficial, but not essential
