Job overview

A new Community Diagnostic Centre is being built within the Belfry shopping centre in Redhill with an anticipated open date in mid-2025. It will house a range of diagnostic services, enabling patients to access the investigations they need at the right time, contributing to earlier diagnosis and treatment.  As a key member of the Community Diagnostic Centre leadership team, the post holder will be jointly responsible for the provision of safe, effective and efficient mobilisation, operations and performance of the Trust’s Community Diagnostic Centres, with an initial primary focus on this Redhill CDC.  

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities include: 

  • Operational Management: Oversee  and be responsible for the day-to-day CDC mobilisation and operations.  
  • Service Delivery: Ensure effective delivery of diagnostic services to patients, meeting agreed objectives, activity targets, quality standards, and  addressing resource constraints.
  • Staff Management: Manage team members, including attraction, resourcing, onboarding, and setting shared objectives.
  • Quality Assurance: Commit to delivering high-quality diagnostic services and maintaining positive working relationships.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:  

  • Significant experience within an NHS environment or complex organization, managing projects, analyzing information, and business planning.
  • Highly developed communication skills, ability to analyze complex data, proficiency in MS packages, and service improvement knowledge
  • Be Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification or experience
