Capital Projects Manager

NHS AfC: Band 7

Job overview

As the dedicated Project Manager for the B46 project, you will lead the day-to-day delivery from initiation through to completion, working within the Capital Planning and Project Management team to improve environments for patients, staff, and visitors. You will ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standards, while also contributing to a wider portfolio of Trust projects.

You will take responsibility for planning and coordinating project workstreams, monitoring progress, risks, and performance, and supporting effective resource allocation, scheduling, and budget management. The role involves contributing to data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, while ensuring robust governance arrangements are maintained, including financial oversight, programme tracking, and compliance with project management standards. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you will build strong relationships with stakeholders and contribute to programme-level reporting, including financial and highlight reports, while providing flexible support across additional capital projects as required.
