About the Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Chef (7061/2 or equivalent) to join our vibrant Catering Team on a Bank only basis. Working within our busy hospital kitchen and restaurant, you’ll help deliver delicious, nutritious meals that support recovery, well being, and the daily experience of more than 750 patients, staff, and visitors.
As a Bank Chef, you will play a key part in our catering service by:
- Preparing a wide range of high‑quality, nutritious meals
- Supporting and supervising kitchen team members
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation
- Staying calm and effective in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
- Contributing to both patient meal services and our dynamic staff/visitor restaurant
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- A recognised Chef qualification (7061/2 or equivalent)
- Experience working in a busy kitchen or catering operation
- Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills
- A commitment to delivering exceptional food and service
- A positive, adaptable, and proactive approach
