Catering Assistant
An opportunity has arisen to work in the catering department at East Surrey Hospital.
We are looking for an enthusiastic motivated team player with a flexible approach to work and excellent customer service.
This role is based in the busy catering department at East Surrey hospital where we serve meals to over 750 patients three times a day and serve customers in the Three Arches restaurant.
The role involves food preparation and serving customers, so maintaining the hygiene standards and cleaning to a high level is very important, along with ensuring good stock rotation. A high standard of customer care is essential.
You will be required to comply with food safety policies, procedures and current legislation, so previous catering experience would be an advantage, but not essential, as training will be provided.
All positions will need to ensure you give a high quality; professional service to staff and visitors at all times. The role does include a degree of manual handling, with stock replenishment and delivering of functions.
