Job overview

We are putting the needs of the patients first and operating a dynamic new extended hours, seven day service at our Front Door.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic OT within our front door team. This includes our bustling emergency department, acute medical unit and ambulatory care units.  As a result of the service, there is the possibility of part time, flexible hours or compressed hours.

Our department is full of opportunity for an OT who is ready to expand their skills further and specialize in emergency medical clinical practice. There are opportunities for specialist training within the clinical field, service development within the team and excellent opportunities to develop your leadership skills.

Our department operates an integrated therapy service, where OTs and Physiotherapists work alongside each other in each of the clinical areas. The culture of multi-disciplinary working is well established and respected within the hospital.

The Therapy department is committed to providing an environment of excellent professional growth and offers daily team huddles and regular departmental meetings; ensuring effective communication within the teams. We incorporate CPD time, regular performance reviews and service development projects. Supervision is highly regarded within the department as a method of ensuring all staff are supported in their professional development and career progression.
