Assistant Facilities Manager – Portering & Post Room
NHS AfC: Band 5
Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in a broad and challenging role as part of the Facilities team, managing the porters and portering supervisors. At times it will be necessary to support any issues that relate to other services within the facilities team and support the Facility manager in their absence.
We wish to move to an electronic led porter tracking service where we would value the input of the person in this role and hope that they will be key to implementation and leading change.
Our goal within portering is to provide a safe, high quality, responsive and proactive Portering service for patients, staff and visitors whilst ensuring Trust and departmental policies are adhered to - your position within this team is pivotal.
