Job overview
- Overall responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness of all areas of the ward or department
- Remove soiled curtains as required and periodically in line with the work schedule, ensuring that replacements are correctly dated.
- Suction clean and damp mop all hard floor surfaces using an appropriate cleaning solution
- Clean all items in bed areas including locker, bed frame, lamps, chairs and all fixtures and fittings in accordance with the work schedule frequencies. Furniture should be moved daily to facilitate cleaning
