Job overview
· Oversee and monitor duty rosters undertaken by the Facilities Supervisors. Ensure that adequate cover has been arranged for all shifts, maintaining associated records.
· Ensure that a transparent process is used for the allocation of bank shifts by adhoc monitoring and assist with the implementation and roll out of e-rostering
· Oversee Housekeeping, Linen, Host-hostess, deep clean, stores, response teams staff induction and refresher training. Update as necessary.
· Provide immediate support to any circumstances/ situations/emergencies which arise throughout the Hospital.
· Have an understanding of the Trust’s Major Incident Procedure and to take an active role in the event of a major incident being declared.
· Attend any meetings as required by the Facilities Manager and Deputy Facilities Manager.
· Ensure staff have the correct uniform whilst on duty and are adhering to the uniform policy.
- Identify and report reactive repairs within the Trust to ensure the provision of a safe, high-quality patient environment.
- Ensure all equipment used by the Housekeeping team is maintained in a good and safe condition, and action taken when required.
- Responsible for the interface with patients and staff in all areas of the Housekeeping, Linen, Host-hostess, deep clean, stores, response teams service including managing complaints, including undertaking investigations and implementing action plans as necessary.
