Locum Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology

We are seeking a Locum Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in gynaecological cancer and diagnostics to join our team at SASH. This post is available for a period of 12 months initially with the option to extend by mutual agreement.

The successful candidate will be a core member of the gynae cancer multidisciplinary team, supporting the MDT lead and the wider team to deliver gynae cancer pathway transformation priorities. These include the delivery of a one-stop clinic approach to support Faster Diagnostic Standards (FDS) and improving accessibility and earlier diagnosis. Completion of the ATSM in Gynaecological Cancer is essential. The aim is to provide a service of the highest quality, ensuring that standards are maintained and developed through continuous improvement, clinical audit, evidence-based research, job planning and appraisal and to work flexibly with colleagues to achieve the hospitals business and clinical strategy.
