Job overview

Are you an enthusiastic and innovative paediatric nurse who is passionate about clinical education and development?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to come and join our friendly, passionate and dedicated paediatric team at East Surrey Hospital. We are looking to recruit a Clinical Practice Educator to support with training and education within our core paediatric services. The post holder will lead in developing our current nursing and care staff as well as providing a vital role in our preceptorship programme for our newly appointed registered nurses.

If you are interested in working with our CQC rated Outstanding service and making a difference to the lives of the children and young people we support, then come and join our team!

Our expanding paediatric service requires paediatric nursing and support staff who are skilled, clinically competent and highly organised, and who are able to safely and efficiently manage a high turnover of patients with complex care requirements. The service supports patients across the Child Assessment Unit, Outwood Ward (inpatient), Children’s Outpatients and our newly developed Day Procedures Unit.
