Job overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the Respiratory Team at East Surrey Hospital as a Physiotherapy Assistant.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and reliable individual to work within our Respiratory Team. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work efficiently and responsibly, and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. This post involves clinical work, assisting Physiotherapists on the wards in the management and rehabilitation of patients, issuing walking aids etc. and non-clinical housekeeping duties and stock management.

The Respiratory Team is responsible for the assessment, management and discharge planning of a varied and diverse clinical caseload across their wards.

This post does not involve seven day working at the present time, but may do in the future to meet service needs.

East Surrey Hospital Physiotherapy Department is a friendly, forward-thinking and innovative department with a well-established Clinical Governance programme and a focus on developing staff.
