Job overview

An opportunity has arisen in East Surrey Hospital to join our physiotherapy team as a Band 3 Physiotherapy Assistant.  We currently have opportunities in the following teams:

  • Care of the Elderly and Intermediate Care Team
  • Acute Medical Team
  • Surgical Team

We are looking for staff who are passionate about improving patients' function and have experience of working with adults as a therapy assistant, healthcare assistant or support worker.   They must be able to demonstrate good communication skills and a basic knowledge of rehabilitation.

The successful applicant will work within a well-established multidisciplinary team of skilled clinicians, providing rehabilitation to patients under the guidance of qualified physiotherapists.

This post may involve working on a seven-day rota at a later time.

Please note candidates must be available to attend an interview day on Wednesday 14th January .  The first stage of the interview will assess suitability for any band 3 physiotherapy assistant role.  Successful candidates will then be invited to stay for stage 2 of the interview to apply for whichever speciality they are interested in. You may be considered for more than one speciality.
