Job overview

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Patient Pathway Coordinator to support the Surgical Division to join our bank at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.

The Patient Pathway Coordinator post involves working alongside the Surgical RTT Performance Team by validating patients on the Validation Sprint and supporting with the surgical Outsourcing.

The post holder will work from our in house system and spreadsheets to validate and support outsourcing. You will be calling patients to see if they are happy to be treated elsewhere. The post holder must be comfortable engaging with patients as well as clinical teams.

The successful candidate will need to be organised and confident and be able to multi-task and prioritise work. Previous experience in similar role such as a patient pathway coordinator or medical secretary will be beneficial, although training will be provided.
