The Rapid Response Team at Frimley Health is seeking a highly skilled, clinically motivated Resuscitation Practitioner to join the service based at Wexham Park Hospital.

The Rapid Response Team provides expert clinical support to patients at risk of physiological deterioration, acute life-threatening events, or cardiac arrest across the hospital. The team plays a critical role in early recognition, timely intervention, and the delivery of high-quality emergency care.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in the management of medical emergencies and cardiac arrest situations, alongside demonstrable involvement in the development, implementation, and review of resuscitation policies and procedures. Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and provide clear leadership in high-pressure situations.

You will join a committed, multi-professional clinical education team that is passionate about delivering excellence in patient care, education, and continuous improvement across the Trust.

This is a clinically focused role encompassing education, research, and clinical leadership, offering the opportunity to influence resuscitation practice and patient outcomes across Frimley Health.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day provision of resuscitation services across Frimley Health.

The post holder will ensure a clinically focused, clinician specific resuscitation and/or emergency care based training as directed by the Rapid Response Team Matron. The post holder will ensure effective day-to-day management of the resuscitation services.

To be a clinical member of the Medical Emergency teams covering Cardiac arrests and emergency calls will require the post holder to work weekends, evenings and night shifts as required for a 24hr seven day service delivery.

  • ALS Instructor or working towards

  • Teaching certificate or mentorship course

Experience

  • Relevant experience in acute care (e.g. ICU/ED/CCU/AMU)
  • Teaching training and/or experience of adult education
