An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Maternal Medicine Team at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust as a Band 3 Administrator.

We are looking for a motivated and organised individual to provide essential administrative support to the Maternal Medicine service across both Frimley Park and Wexham Park Hospital sites. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality antenatal care for women requiring specialist Maternal Medicine input during their pregnancy journey.

You will be responsible for ensuring women referred to the Maternal Medicine pathway are identified promptly, appropriately followed up, and supported through effective coordination of care. This will involve working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team and liaising with specialist Maternal Medicine Centres when required.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication and organisational skills who enjoys working in a busy and rewarding healthcare environment.

The role will involve cross-site working between Wexham Park Hospital and Frimley Park Hospital when necessary

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

  • The postholder will play an essential part in ensuring any woman referred onto the Maternal Medicine Pathway is identified and can be followed up with the most appropriate care which will involve liaison/referral to the Maternal Medicine Centres for expertise.  
  • The post holder will undertake a wide range of administrative tasks and be responsible for completing and reviewing data.  
  • The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that communication to the multidisciplinary team about this cohort of high-risk ladies both internally and externally.  
  • The role is cross site and requires travel between sites on a weekly basis.
  • The post holder will be expected to liaise closely on a day-to-day basis with the lead consultants for Maternal Medicine both internally and at tertiary centres, the lead midwife for antenatal clinic, community midwives, allied departments, women on the maternal medicine pathway, other stakeholders, and members of the public.  
  • There will be a close working relationship with the maternal medicine consultants and lead midwife for the antenatal clinic, the maternity ultrasound staff, the community midwives, specialist consultants, antenatal clerical staff.  
  • Data entry, investigation and recording of pregnancy outcome including notification to key clinicians will be required. 
  • The post holder will be expected to adhere to trust policies and procedures referring to designated line manger when needed.
