This post is for a booking clerk at the South West Wales Cancer Centre, Singleton.
The post holder will provide a professional booking service for new and follow up appointments and administrative support in the effective management of appointments bookings, including clinic maintenance.

Information and Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Good standard of general education, minimum 5 GCSE’s at C or above
- Good knowledge of administration/clerical procedures
Desirable criteria
- NVQ in Administration or equivalent
- ECDL
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience using computer software packages such as Microsoft Office
- Experience of effective team work
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working in a busy office environment
Aptitudes and abilities
Essential criteria
- Adhere to and can demonstrate SBU Values & Behaviours
- Excellent Communication Skills confident – able to communicate to staff of all levels
- Excellent Telephone Manner
