The Oncology Department in Singleton Hospital, Swansea are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individuals to join their team to undertake a 6-month fixed term LAS ST Lower post to start as soon as possible until 3rd February 2026.
It is intended that this post will provide an excellent learning opportunity and will enhance individual’s CV’s.
Main duties of the job
Although this post is not recognised for training, participation in educational programmes, audit and research will be encouraged and supported.
The successful candidate will be working together with the wider clinical team of Consultants, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Junior Doctors and other Allied Health Professionals to provide high quality, safe and effective clinical care. Working as part of the multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will participate on the Full shift rota. Salary stated includes payment for banding supplement for full shift rota.

Swansea Bay University Health Board has responsibility for the health of around 390,000 people in the Neath Port Talbot and Swansea areas, with a budget of around £1 billion and employing 12,500 people. We are a University Health Board working in partnership with Swansea University, Swansea School of Medicine, the School of Health Science and the Institute of Life Science. The HB has three major hospitals providing a range of services: Morriston and Singleton hospitals in Swansea and Neath Port Talbot hospital in Baglan, Port Talbot.

Essential criteria
- You must hold a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS, MBBS) degree or other equivalent medical qualification.
- • Be eligible for full registration with, and hold a current licence to practise from, the General Medical Council (GMC) at the advertised post start date for the vacancy.
