Job overview
This is a new post joining 3 Consultant Breast Radiologists, 1 Consultant Radiographer and 1 Advanced Practitioner. The post holder should be competent in mammography reporting, breast and axillary ultrasound, and image guided biopsy of the breast and axilla. The post holder will be expected to undertake symptomatic breast assessment clinics and actively engage in the breast MDT.
Main duties of the job
The breast unit is based in Singleton, but the role may require some sessions to be performed in Neath Port Talbot Hospital. There is also the potential for Screening sessions at Breast Test Wales in Swansea.
