The Royal Victoria Infirmary Catering Department have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Catering Assistant/Driver working 30 hours per week, Working 5 days over 7 on a 6 week roster and hours of work are between 07.15 - 19.30 (6 hour shifts)

Main duties of the job
- As a Catering Assistant/Driver you will be responsible for supporting the wider catering team during and throughout patient's meal service periods
- Ensuring efficient and effective patient meal preparation and delivery of all patient's food trollies ensuring patient meal trollies are switched on as per the regeneration schedule which will then allow the trollies to be delivered to ward level.
- Working as part of the team collecting and returning patients meal trollies to the catering department
- Delivery of stocks and stores to on-site locations as and when required
- Supporting cleaning of the patient meal service area and trollies after each meal period
- Supporting cleaning on a daily basis of the catering department and any deep cleaning requirements as requested by the supervisory/management team.
- Removal of catering rubbish and food waste.
- Please note this role involves a lot of moving and handling
