Are you an expert in Analytics and Reporting, looking to apply your skills in a role that makes a real difference to patient care? We are seeking an Information Specialist to join our Analytics and Reporting team and provide specialist advice and support relating to information analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
At the heart of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust’s ambitious Digital Strategy is the provision of high-quality data to support intelligence-led decision making. This role is key to the delivery of this element of the strategy through the use of the latest analytical techniques that turn data into innovative, compelling and intuitive information.

We require full time cover for this role but are open to achieving this through job sharing.
The successful candidate would be expected to work on site three days per week.

Main duties of the job
As one of the senior members of our Analytics and Reporting team, you will:
- analyse complex data and develop information reporting solutions
- communicate highly complex or sensitive information to managers and clinicians
- facilitate team working and collaboration within teams, departments, and across organisational boundaries
- Explore and champion advances in analytical methodologies
The successful candidate will hold an honours degree in a subject with a substantial numerate content and have specialist knowledge and expertise in Analytics and Reporting, equivalent to postgraduate degree level.
The post-holder must have excellent inter-personal skills – pro-actively developing strong working relationships across relevant teams and ensuring that there is excellent communication with all relevant parties.

• To provide specialist advice and support relating to information analysis, interpretation and reporting.
• To manage, maintain and develop information and performance monitoring systems.
• To contribute to the development of strategic and operational plans.
• To take a key role in improving data quality and data integrity throughout the Trust by providing ongoing specialist training to managers and clinicians.
• To analyse complex data and develop information reporting solutions
• To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust. Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a numerate discipline, preferably mathematics or statistics / An honours degree in a subject with a substantial numerate content
- Specialist knowledge and expertise in Information & Performance Management reporting, equivalent to postgraduate degree level, acquired through significant experience in an information analysis role, preferably in an NHS Trust.
