Job overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Eating Disorders Team Lead to join the Children and Young People’s Eating Disorder Service in Coventry and Warwickshire.
This is a full time, permanent role and within a growing and thriving CAMHS Eating Disorders (ED) day unit and outpatient service. We are keen to hear from nurses who are passionate about making a difference for children, young people, and families.
This role will primarily be based at an identified day unit for Eating Disorders and will provide both operational and clinical oversight of the day unit, while also contributing to the wider, expanding Eating Disorders service.
The Trust’s CAMHS Eating Disorders are continuing to expand, with new and exciting care pathways currently in development. If you have an interest in ED, we offer a specialist and supportive environment in which to grow your career. There will be opportunities to become involved in service development and delivery across a range of initiatives, and we will support you to develop your interests across the whole eating disorder pathway (including CAMHS out patient, intensive outreach and ARFID).
Main duties of the job
Responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of the identified team, including patient, team activity, performance, quality and staffing matters.
Contribute to the delivery of the transformation programme within the Eating Disorders structure
Support the delivery of child & family focused services in line with agreed performance and quality targets and within budget, whilst delivering agreed cost improvements
Provide management of staff
Contribute to effective partnership working with key external services, including social care, the acute sector and key third sector organisations, to support the delivery of shared outcomes

- Educated to degree level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior supervisory level
- Relevant qualification or significant experience in clinical children’s field - mental health, neurodevelopment, learning disability
