Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.

Main duties of the job

Duties will include all aspects of the repair and planned maintenance of medical linear accelerators and ancillary equipment.

You will have proven experience as a service engineer, technician or similar role in healthcare, industry or the Armed Forces. We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate experience of fault finding and repair of complex electronic systems. Relevant areas include high power RF & microwave generation, x-ray generation, high vacuum systems, servo control,  digital imaging, radiation detection and medical devices. Supplementary relevant areas that will be taken into consideration include computer networking and mechanical engineering.
