A great opportunity available for a Team Secretary to join our Admin Support team based at St Michaels Hospital.

The Team Secretary provides a comprehensive administrative and secretarial service for the  AHP Team which includes the Therapies Manager, Occupational Therapists, Activity Co-ordinators, Physio Team, SaLT and the Dietitians.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Provide an administrative service across all services.

Undertake general office duties as required including filing, photocopying, collating and distributing information, scanning, receipt and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail. 

Maintain spread sheets and databases including the production of regular information reports 

Be responsible for organising and servicing meetings / events as required, 
including room bookings, taking accurate notes, transcription and circulation as appropriate

Procurement - order stationery, clinical supplies and equipment stock. 

Use own initiative to meet tight deadlines. 

Work effectively as a team member.

Provide flexible administrative and clerical cover as required.  The post holder will be required to provide cover to St Michael's Reception on an ad hoc basis.   The role may also encompass working at another base to provide cover for holidays/ sickness in the local area.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills and experience in the use of Microsoft Office
