Job overview

Are you a Nurse who is passionate about working with people to improve their quality of life and reduce symptoms of an eating disorder? Are you compassionate, respectful, kind and dynamic? Are you experienced in managing complexity and comorbidities? If you are looking to be part of a team working as an MDT to support patients and their families across the age range in a specialist setting then this post may well be for you. 

Main duties of the job

Our Nurse's are active in triage, specialist assessment and treatment of people with Eating Disorders. We deliver NICE compliant treatments such as CBT-E, CBT-T, Mantra and specialist supportive clinical management.  We are active in ensuring risk assessment and management is a team approach to care. Although these posts are mainly working with adults our service is all age so you will be expected to develop skills working across the age range.

We deliver robust in service training around all areas of practice including but not limited to MEED, ARFID, risk management, and CBT skills  and knowledge. Developing our team is a top priority for us to ensure effective care and confidence and competency in our team.
