Main duties of the job
The post will focus on providing direct clinical care and meeting service delivery – out-patient clinics, surgical duties/lists, MDT meetings, as well as delivering appropriate teaching, training and supervision of other members of staff, and giving the post holder the opportunity to undertake wider professional activities and additional NHS responsibilities such as management roles.

Experience/ Qualifications
Essential criteria
- • Basic medical degree qualification
- • Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
- • Four years post-graduation – foundation year training completed
Desirable criteria
- Experience in breast surgery
Clinical Skills and Experience
Essential criteria
- • Evidence of experience in all aspects breast assessment, diagnosis with interpretation of investigations
- • Evidence of having undertaken own development to improve understanding of equalities issues
Desirable criteria
- • Experience of breast surgery
Knowledge

- • Breadth of experience in and outside specialty
Organisation and Planning
Essential criteria
- • Experience and ability to work in multi-professional teams
