QVH is a specialist NHS hospital providing life-changing reconstructive surgery, burns care and rehabilitation services for people across the South of England.

In addition to receiving tertiary referrals from across the South East of England, QVH is continuing to develop a network of ‘spoke’ sites at district general hospitals enabling our consultants to offer their expertise with routine treatments and consultations as close to close to patients’ homes as is possible.

Critical Care is an expanding service and we are looking for enthusiastic nurses to join our friendly innovative team. In return for your intensive care expertise we can offer university and site based training and support in caring for our patients with complex needs. As a unit we are a well-resourced speciality and offer excellent career progression opportunities to develop both professionally and personally, we encourage and support our nurses to actively contribute to our continuing development. We also support our nurses to attend and present at educational and professional conferences, both nationally and internationally.
The Queen Victoria Hospital is a regional tertiary referral centre for reconstructive plastic surgery, head & neck cancer surgery and maxillofacial trauma and major burns. We offer a varied, interesting, and often challenging work environment, caring for critically ill patients from these specialities.
All applicants should have post registration experience in an intensive care setting; evidence of shift leading, completion of intensive care competencies and ideally a post registration intensive care nursing qualification, but this is not essential. Full training and support will be given.
This position attracts the Queen Victoria Hospital Relocation Allowance and Removal Expense Payments.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
