This rotational post is an great opportunity for a new or existing Band 5 to join our team. This is a full time, permanent position that will provide you with the opportunity to develop skills within 4 highly specialist areas:
- Hands and Plastics
- Burns, Plastics and Head and Neck
- MSK
- Neurological Outpatients and Community
Main duties of the job
You will assess and treat a caseload of patients within both inpatient and outpatient settings in order to maximise patient recovery and function. You will attend handover meetings, in-service training and MDT meetings.
You must have excellent clinical skills, be proactive and self-motivated, but most importantly have a passion for maintaining high standards of care for our patients.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
To provide a high standard of physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions.
To assess, diagnose, plan and deliver individualised treatment programmes. To hold responsibility for a caseload, mostly working without direct supervision.
To participate in the on-call physiotherapy service, for which you will receive training prior to competency confirmation.
To participate in the supervision, education and assessment of the performance of therapy work experience/students, to a graduate standard and feedback to the senior member of staff.
To participate in the team’s development, training, audit and research programme.
To ensure the maintenance of a high standard of service provision, maximising patient recovery and function and developing the quality of the service.

- Degree in Physiotherapy or able to demonstrate specialist knowledge within this field through practical experience
- HCPC Registration
