We are recruiting a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Team Lead to join our expanding Talking Therapies for Anxiety & Depression (TTAD) service. The main focus of this role will be supporting Trainee PWPs within Health in Mind. The role will work within the Eastbourne area of East Sussex.

Health in Mind is a Talking Therapies for Anxiety & Depression Service (TTAD) that offers a full range of TTAD compliant therapies and job roles. As a service we support people presenting with mild to moderate anxiety disorders and depression. Please see our website for further information on https://www.healthinmind.org.uk/.

The PWP Team Lead role offers a development opportunity for experienced qualified PWPs to expand their skills in management and service development.

This is a permanent, full time post (37.5hrs per week) though we will consider applications from those that wish to work flexibly and are open to discussions around remote and home working.

Main duties of the job

The role will involve:

  • being responsible for and providing effective leadership and management for the Step 2 PWP Clinical team, promoting the effective delivery of Step 2 interventions.
  • Providing line management, clinical supervision, meta supervision and case management for Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWPs), PWPs & Trainee PWPs.
  • Managing and supporting the recruitment of PWP trainees
  • Providing CBT based guided self-help to clients

Requirements

In order for you to apply for this role you will need:

  • A postgraduate certificate in Low Intensity Psychological Therapies,
  • Registration as a PWP with the BPS or BABCP
  • Extensive experience delivering PWP interventions within an TTAD service
  • Significant experience of delivering case management and clinical skills Supervision and a recognised NHS Talking Therapies qualification in supervision.
  • Line management experience
  • Excellent team skills
  • Experience of offering telephone, virtual and F2F treatment

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Post Graduate certificate if Low Intensity CBT interventions and be accredited with the BABCP or BPS or be in the process of applying for accreditation
  • Evidence of CPD
  • A qualification in provision of Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner supervision
  • Experience of having delivered clinical supervision
