Job overview

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual, who enjoys challenges, to join our admin team, based at Hellingly.

You will be working as an Administrator for the Forensic Healthcare Services where you will use your skills to support highly-skilled and dedicated community services, to help ensure that we continue to provide excellent patient-focused care.  

Main duties of the job

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The Team PA will provide a full secretarial and administrative service, having daily liaison with a wide range of staff at all levels and regular contact with people who use services and their carers, who may at times be distressed or angry. The Team Secretary will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of the office environment for the team. The role will also include supervision of junior members of the team

Essential criteria
  • NVQ 3 in Business & Administration or evidenceof equivalent practical experience
  • RSA 3 or equivalent experience and evidence offurther practical experience
  • Good standard of secondary education; GCSE atGrade C or above

Knowledge/Experience

Essential criteria
  • Extensive knowledge of a full range of secretarialprocedures
  • Knowledge of software programmes / packages
  • Previous experience in a similar role
