Job overview
Do you have extensive skills and demonstrable experience to develop, support and enhance a team of skilled clinicians?
Do you want to use and develop your own specialist knowledge and experience?
We wish to recruit a practitioner who has specialist knowledge, experience and/or training in mental health risk management. These skills would provide clinical expertise to support and further develop an established multi-disciplinary team in a Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment team. The multi- disciplinary team are made up of Urgent Care Practitioners, CRHTT team leader, Discharge team leader, Psychologists, Senior Support Workers and Peer Support workers. You will work in the CRHTT working alongside a Team Leader, a Discharge Lead and a Service Manager.
Main duties of the job
- To provide comprehensive assessments of mental health specific to the needs of service area.
- To manage a caseload of clients with complex mental health needs and undertake case management/lead professional/ CPA as needed.
- To be able to communicate with and meet the needs of families and carers as appropriate to the care group and the individual client.
- To have experience of and specialist knowledge on interventions to be able to lead in a clinical area.
- To utilise specialist care group knowledge to provide specialist training and advice to other professionals, students and agencies
- To develop teaching and training sessions for staff and professionals on specialist subject areas relevant to the care group.
- To develop service pathways for clients in care group and contribute to the ongoing development of the service
- Participate in service development
