Job overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated individual to join our busy Assessment & Treatment Service, AAW
The post holder will provide administrative support to the clinical team, including the team lead, as well as supervision and leadership of the administration team across Adur, Arun and Worthing - therefore regular travel between sites will be a requirement.
The work is varied and challenging, providing secretarial and administrative support to a broad multi-disciplinary team, dealing with queries from clients, doctors, other agencies and members of the public
Main duties of the job
Supervisory responsibility of junior staff
Overview of staff rosters
Support with recruitment and induction
Monitoring of service key performance indicators
Ordering supplies
Taking minutes at Multi-disciplinary meetings and distributing these appropriately
Supporting the Admin Team Lead

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
You will be required to work to a very high standard of accuracy, have excellent organisational skills and be able to demonstrate initiative in planning your own workload in a way that supports the clinical team.
The role will involve:
- Coordination of staff rosters
- Minute taking for key meetings as well as ad-hoc meetings as needed
- Diary management for medics and the clinical team
- Supporting the Admin Team Leader with a variety of tasks as needed
- Maintaining data and data reporting
- Supervision of junior staff
- Ordering clinical and stationary equipment using our Oracle ordering system

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- NVQ 3 in Business & Administration or evidence of equivalent practical experience
- RSA 3 or equivalent experience and evidence of further practical experience
- Good standard of secondary education; GCSE at Grade C or above
Desirable criteria
- European Computer Driving Licence Certificate
