Little Minds Matter: Bradford Infant Mental Health Service.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development of a specialist team that makes a real difference to the lives of babies and their parents/carers in Bradford.  

‘Little Minds Matter’ is Bradford’s Infant Mental Health Service. The service is currently jointly commissioned through the Integrated Care Board, the Start for Life programme and the Children and Families Trust. This post will be funded through the Start for Life funding.

As a service, we are keen to ensure that babies who are most vulnerable receive high quality support for their social and emotional development. As an administrator in our team, you will be a key part of ensuring that we can support families and practitioners across Bradford. This will involve helping us to communicate with those who use our service and supporting us to capture data and evaluation that will contribute to our ongoing success as a service. 

One 0.8WTE post (30 hours) is available.

Main duties of the job

To support the clinical and professional work of the service by managing the administrative work of the Little Minds Matter: Bradford Infant Mental Health Service. 

Job dimensions include: 
• To work as a member of a multi-disciplinary specialist team to provide a comprehensive administrative service to the Little Minds Matter: Bradford Infant Mental Health Service. 
• To support the service manager and team members in maintaining the day to day operational functions of the team. 
• To continue an efficient administration infrastructure to support service delivery. 
• To develop and embed administration processes, policies, templates and standard operating procedures across the multi-disciplinary team. 
• To contribute to the service’s on-going development, including development of templates and policies linked to administration processes and activity. 
• To manage incoming contact with the team including via email, telephone and letter. 
• To support outgoing contact from the team including via email, telephone and letter. 
• Management of team activity calendar and appointment scheduling. 
• Maintenance of appropriate records via clinical system and shared electronic filing.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • RSA II or equivalent.
  • ECDL Qualification or equivalent.
Desirable criteria
  • Business admin qualification level 3.

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Administration/office experience i.e. diary management, electronic filing systems, meeting preparation, note taking, collating and presenting information etc.
  • Providing administrative or secretarial support.
  • Experience of organising competing demands and workloads.
  • Experience of setting up and maintaining administrative systems and processes.
Desirable criteria
  • Administration/office experience supporting senior management/clinical functions within the public sector.

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Software and Microsoft Outlook or equivalent administrative programs.
Desirable criteria
  • Working knowledge of SystmOne.
