Are you passionate about shaping innovative mental health services and driving real change? We’re seeking a dynamic leader to spearhead our Early Intervention in Psychosis and Individual Placement Support Services within our Trust.
As the clinical and operational lead, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality adult community mental health care. You’ll take full ownership of your teams’ performance and ensure every service user receives exceptional care rooted in clinical excellence and compassion.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will work alongside senior management, you will take full accountability for delivering exceptional Adult Community Mental Health Services, focusing on:

Individual Placement Support Services
You will:

Manage and optimize service delivery within the constraints of commissioning agreements, ensuring resources are used efficiently and effectively to maximize patient outcomes.

Guarantee that services not only meet but exceed internal and national quality standards, embedding clinical governance practices that promote continuous improvement and best practice.

Play a vital role in the Foundation Trust’s journey, helping services demonstrate ongoing advancements in both quality and cost-efficiency.

Support the Trust’s corporate planning cycles and identify new opportunities for service development within your portfolio.

Act as the accountable clinical manager for adult community mental health services across your areas of responsibility, resolving day-to-day operational and clinical challenges with confidence and decisiveness.

Translate national health and social care policies into tangible improvements on the ground.

Oversee risk management strategies, maintain risk registers, and uphold assurance frameworks to keep services safe and well governed

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Hold a relevant professional qualification in health or social care
- Minimum of two years experience of managing mental health services at team leader/manager level
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Knowledge of relevant national policies, mental health legislation, best practice, quality frameworks and local approach to implementation within specific area of responsibility
Skills
Essential criteria
- Ability to set out a vision for area of responsibility and influence and persuade others of the benefits and requirements whilst overcoming barriers to achieving this.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of supporting the implementation of service developments and reconfiguration
- Experience and knowledge of working in and managing in a multi disciplinary team setting with a mental health setting.
