We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-motivated individual to join our large, friendly, multi-disciplinary Audiology team, for a period of 18 months, although there may be possibilities for this to be extended.
Applicants must be qualified Audiologists with a BSc in Audiology (or equivalent Audiology qualification), have Registration with HCPC or AHCS (or pending), and have training/work experience in an NHS audiology service.
The post-holder will participate in both the assessment and rehabilitation of adults with hearing difficulties and should have a thorough understanding of patient management systems and hearing aid technology. The department provides a comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative service to the population of Bradford and surrounding areas as well as supporting ENT clinic both at base within Bradford Royal Infirmary and at out-reach centres.
The department operates extended working hours enabling staff to work a 4 day week, and is looking at Saturday working

- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deal sensitively and politely with patients
- Able to work as part of a team, and confidently with staff at all levels
- Good organisational skills, including management and prioritisation of own workload
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Understanding of Information Governance and Confidentiality
- Knowledge of hearing aid technology
- Ability to record clinical and professional activity
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- BSc Audiology or equivalent,
- Professional registration with relevant UK body (HCPC or AHCS) (or in process with application if newly qualified)
Desirable criteria
- Hold a full driving licence and has access to a vehicle
- Member of BSA/BAA
- Supervision/Mentorship qualification
