We require a friendly, positive thinking, organized and motivated individual to work as a Part-Time Housekeeper within the Trust - working across two of our elderly medical wards.

Main duties of the job

The role includes stock management and ordering, catering and meal provision support. Cleaning and infection prevention measures including supporting other team members.

You will need to be passionate and enthusiastic about putting patient care, putting patients at the heart of everything you do. You will be working in a multi-professional team and will need to think on the spot and use your own initiative. You will be passionate about creating a culture of continuous improvement within the NHS.

Housekeepers are responsible for providing and maintaining cleaning and catering services as art of the Hotel Services team to clinical and communal areas within the Trust, ensuring a clean, safe and supportive environment for patients working towards their recovery, staff and visitors.
