The Trust is looking to recruit a Gardener to join the Grounds & Gardens Team. 

The postholder will deal with all types of gardening duties to enhance and maintain the appearance of the Trust’s grounds.

  

Main duties of the job

The postholder will be expected to carry out both routine and urgent grounds maintenance duties in an efficient and effective manner to support successful delivery of a customer focussed estate maintenance service for the Trust.

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Previous experience in gardening/horticulture
Desirable criteria
  • Previous experience in use of tractor/Land Rover & other gardening machinery

Skills

  • Good communication Skills
  • Good customer care skills
  • Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions, including snow clearing duties.
