Due to the retirement of our existing CNIO, Bradford Teaching Hospitals are looking for an experienced and inspiring registered nurse, midwife or AHP to join our Digital, Data and Technology team as Chief Nursing Information Officer (CNIO).
This is an exciting leadership role for an individual who is passionate about improving patient care through digital innovation, clinical informatics and service transformation.

- Previous experience of working in the NHS or a similar large, complex environment
- Significant post registration experience

- Extensive experience in clinical practice at a management or leadership level – with a track record of credibility

- An in depth understanding of the statutory framework governing clinicians including emerging nursing revalidation
- Understanding (& experience) of how to improve clinical quality in acute patient settings
- A clear understanding of the national nursing and midwifery strategy, resultant work-streams and the standards to underpin and demonstrate best practice in nursing;
- understanding of national policy in relation to the national approaches to clinical quality, the Care Quality Commission activities and methodologies & the impact & expectation on front line services to deliver high quality safe care
- Proven ability to achieve targets and objectives within a pressured environment against challenging deadlines;

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
