Join Bradford's dynamic Radiology department and work with our friendly team of radiographers, radiologists, and other support staff. You will perform a wide range of clinical duties, undertaking a key role in the patient's diagnostic imaging pathway.
This post is open to applications from final year Radiography students.
Main duties of the job
- Rotate across all of BTHFT’s sites – Bradford Royal Infirmary, St Luke’s Hospital and Eccleshill Community Diagnostic Centre.
- Participate in a 24/7 flexible shift pattern.
- Maintain high standards of care, competence, professionalism, and punctuality.
- Produce high quality diagnostic images in accordance with department and national protocols.
- Participate in department audits and quality assurance.
- Keep up to date with mandatory training.
- Adhere to the Trust's uniform policy, in line with health & safety and infection control.
- Adhere to Information Governance.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- DCR or BSc Diagnostic Radiography
- State registration with HCPC
Desirable criteria
- Post graduate qualification or relevant experience
Experience
Essential criteria
- Relevant X-ray experience, including theatre, fluoroscopy, mobiles
- Familiar with RIS and PACS
Desirable criteria
- Quality assurance of X-ray equipment
Skills
Essential criteria
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
Desirable criteria
- Resilient under pressure from patients, staff, and the public
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Good radiographic knowlegde

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
