We are inviting passionate and committed individuals to join our Trust's Staff Bank as Staff Nurses (RMN/RNLD) to work across acute and specialist inpatient wards at Lynfield Mount Hospital and Airedale Centre for Mental Health.

Main duties of the job
- Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care to patients for whom he/she is identified as named nurse.
- Holds delegated responsibility for management of the ward on a shift basis.
- Contributes to the supervision and development of junior staff
- Helps to ensure the safety of the ward and unit environments.

Essential criteria
- Registered Mental Health nursing certificate (RMN) OR Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD)
Desirable criteria
- Accredited counselling course or equivalent
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of working in a mental health setting substantively
- Post preceptorship sign off and able to take charge
Desirable criteria
- Involvement of innovative nursing practice
Knowledge & Skills
Essential criteria
- Assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual care plans
- Able to work without direct supervision
Desirable criteria
- Ability to speak Punjabi, Urdu, Bengali, Hindi, Gujerati
