Premise Site Cleaner

 We are offering an exciting opportunity for a; Part Time Station/Site  cleaner at our  Newly Developed Doncaster Ambulance Station HUB.

Duties will include: Station/Site Cleaning-

In line with the NHS National cleaning Specification requirements  2019

To undertake cleaning, decontamination and other associated tasks so as to meet the high standards of cleanliness and Infection, Prevention and Control measures required across our stations and sites.

  • To ensure that all activities are performed in line with the Trust Cleaning Protocols, procedures and specific daily work schedules. Achieving and maintaining all required standards of cleanliness across the organisation. Our cleaning schedules include; entrances and foyers, public and staff washrooms/toilets, kitchens, canteens/restaurant’s, gym's, shower rooms, training rooms, corridors, stairs, landings, lifts, offices, contact centres, storerooms, dirty utility rooms, crew rooms, external areas and other associated areas. 
  • To ensure adequate stocks of cleaning materials are maintained and to record all daily activities. This will include urgent spillage cleaning and deep cleaning where identified. 
  • Our mandatory training package includes NVQ2 and NCFE- Infection Prevention & Control  and is required to be completed/undertaking prior to the final pay point progression

General and deep cleaning of the Yorkshire Ambulance Service Vehicles and to keep the garage floor, wash points and other areas clean

Working days and times are dependent upon provision required due to the Yorkshire Ambulance Service being a 24/7 Emergency Service.

NHS Agenda for Change Pay applies. As such, unsociable payments for weekend and Bank Holidays  will be paid for all hours worked on:

Saturdays at 41% uplift

Bank Holiday & Sunday at 83% uplift

Permanent working times to be agreed, between 06.00 and 16:00

A Basic fitness to perform tasks evaluation will be required prior to commencement in post
