Job overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who enjoys the challenge of working in an environment where no two days are the same and who can provide administrative support to our busy assessment unit.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for providing all clerical/admin and secretarial support to ward 3 including a good working knowledge of all Trust electronic systems. The post holder is required to deal with queries from patients, visitors and staff.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
- Participate in regular supervision.
- Attend all mandatory training.
- Participate annually identifying, developing and agreeing your own development plan with your Line Manager using the Trust Appraisal.
- Comply with all Trust policies, procedures and protocols.
- Carry out duties with due regard to the Trust’s Equal Opportunity Policy.
- Seek advice and support from Line Manager whenever necessary.
- Maintain professional conduct including appearance at all times.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- English GCSE grade 9-2 (A*-E) or equivalent or high level of literacy skills demonstrated within application
- Competence based level 2 Qualification e.g. NVQ level 2 in business administration/customer service or equivalent admin experience
- Willingness to undertake any training or development relevant to the role
Knowledge, experience & expertise
Essential criteria
- Previous clerical, administrative and secretarial experience
- Literacy Skills
- IT skills
Desirable criteria
- Experience working in the NHS
- Understand the importance of record keeping
- Knowledge of Medical terminology
- Experience of EPR and Capacity Management
