Essential criteria

Primary Dental qualification
Registration with the General Dental Council

Desirable criteria

Postgraduate qualification in education, training, leadership or clinical management

Knowledge and Skills

Essential criteria

Senior clinical leadership role
Evidence of being able to manage a team to effectively deliver programmes
Evidence of working at a strategic level within healthcare

Desirable criteria

Understanding of financial systems
Management of professional standards concerns
Clear understanding of dental professional training

Attitudes and Behaviours

Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills with colleagues and stakeholders
