Job overview
We are seeking a motivated and innovative team member to autonomously serve as a project manager for the implementation of the Oliver McGowan Tier 2 training programme across BDCFT. This role includes ensuring that all activities are meticulously planned and efficiently managed.
You will oversee and facilitate training provision alongside co-trainers with expertise stemming from their experiences as autistic individuals and individuals with learning disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels of management, thereby promoting clear and effective communication.

Main duties of the job
Working independently to project manage and co-ordinate the role out of the Oliver McGowan Tier 2 training programme across BDCFT. This includes taking a lead role in ensuring all activities are well planned and managed effectively.
Lead and support the delivery of the training alongside the facilitator .
Inbuilding into the programme a continuous improvement approach to ensure the successful delivery of the project objectives and meeting identified KPI’s.
Will be required to build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of
stakeholders across all levels of management ensuring clear and effective lines of communication.
Lead and support expert by experience co-trainers who will be autistic people and people with a learning disability.
Work within their scope of competence, referring issues or training needs that they cannot deal with to the appropriate individual(s).

- Experience of the successful planning, implementation and delivery of a practice-based project in health and social care or similar environment.
- Experience of working within a ‘functional matrix’ team structure to achieve objectives and presenting complex data in the form of reports (verbal/written) to differing levels of stakeholders
- To have had experience via their professional role and/or qualifications in the provision of pastoral care.
Desirable criteria
- Experience of delivering high quality services to people with a learning disability and autistic people in a professional role or can demonstrate an equivalent level or skills, knowledge and experience.
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Has an up to date working knowledge of the fields of autism and learning disability and is familiar with current issues.
- Understanding of equality and diversity issues and how this affects, experts by experience and staff
