Join Our Patient Catering Team!
We’re on a mission to transform mealtimes into moments of care, comfort, and connection. Our Patient Catering Team & Hostess Housekeeping team is evolving — and we’re looking for a passionate, people-loving Patient Experience and Nutritional Supervisor to help lead the charge.

 

This position is not currently eligible for a certificate of sponsorship in line with Home Office guidance as it does not appear on the skilled worker visa occupation list.

Main duties of the job

You’ll be the secret ingredient in our recipe for success, helping to:

  • Lead and support a team of catering colleagues, hostesses, and housekeepers.
  • Onboard and train new team members (yes, you’ll be the friendly face they remember!).
  • Keep our service running like a well-oiled kitchen — with data, delivery, and mealtime magic.

  • GCSE Maths & English
  • Level 2 Food Safety
Desirable criteria
  • IOSH Managing Safely Level 3
  • Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Customer Service training/qualification
  • Train the Trainer

Skills/Competencies

Essential criteria
  • Computer literate in Excel and Word
  • High attention to detail

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety practices
  • An understanding of Confidentiality
  • Knowledge of allergens and allergen management
  • Knowledge of catering and hospitality best practice
Desirable criteria
  • Understanding of Information Governance
  • Knowledge of HACCP
  • Knowledge of NHS PLACE
  • Understanding of NHS Framework of Audit

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of working in a catering environment
  • Experience in dealing with customers and handling complaints
