We are excited to be offering this opportunity for a clinical psychologist/ lead psychological therapist to join the Bradford District and Craven Integrated Rehabilitation Pathway.
The Integrated Rehabilitation Service is an experienced, supportive multidisciplinary team leading the way in complex rehabilitation delivery. We provide a holistic service putting self-management and rehabilitation at the centre of the care, supporting people with management of Fatigue, Breathing Pattern Disorders, Stress, Pain, Symptoms of Dysautonomia. We support a mixture of home, virtual and out-patient clinic-based working with a personalised approach to patient care, providing individual and/or group sessions.

We are committed to supporting you to build your clinical rehabilitation skills in symptom-based management and Vocational Rehabilitation.
You will have the opportunity to run and continue the development of group-based interventions alongside 1:1 work with patients for a more individualised psychological assessment and formulation based on a biopsychosocial model where required.

Main duties of the job
· Work with autonomous professional judgement, together with other psychological therapists, to deliver evidence-based therapy to individual and groups of patients.
· Manage a designated caseload of patients with responsibility for their assessment, implementation and evaluation of therapy.
· Supervise and support Lead/Psychological Therapists.
· Proactively contribute to the achievement of positive clinical outcomes. This will include conducting evaluations using clinical outcome measures and satisfaction surveys.
· Communicate effectively with patients, relatives/carers and colleagues from diverse backgrounds in a manner that is sensitive, open, welcoming and person-centred.
- Act as a mentor to students, support newly qualified staff and be responsible for implementing the appraisal process.
- Use IT systems effectively.
- Maintain accurate, up to date clinical records in accordance with Trust policy.
- Provide clinical leadership to the Psychological Therapists.
- Support the Team Manager with operational duties, including appraisal, caseload management and providing cover in the absence of the Team Manager.
- Delegate tasks to staff within their competency and ensure that the delegation/escalation process forms part of the culture of the service.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology with current HCPC registration and / or core profession / completed KSA portfolio plus postgraduate qualification (postgraduate diploma or masters) in CBT with current BABCP accreditation or Professional background in a mental health or health discipline requiring training to at least first-degree level. AND Registration with own core profession. AND Specialist post graduate training to masters’ level or equivalent in CBT AND Accreditation from a recognized Psychological Therapy body e.g. BABCP, BACP, UKCP.

- Teaching (clinical practice) qualification/certificate.

- Experience in relevant area of mental health practice
