Job overview

The days are varied and there is a wide range of training and development opportunities. You will be part of a wider multi-disciplinary team delivering primary care, mental health, and substance misuse services to our patients. 

Main duties of the job

The role includes nurse led clinics, Substance misuse assessment, administering medication and treatments, emergency response, triage, wound care, examinations, and referrals. No two days are the same working in our friendly and supportive team. You must have sound nursing knowledge, lots of valuable experience and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Essential criteria
  • Registered Nurse Level 1 – Adult / General/Mental Health

Knowledge and Experience

Essential criteria
  • Knowledge of current healthcare issues. Knowledge of clinical governance audit, risk management and quality agenda
  • Working within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team
  • Worked in a complex environment managing deteriorating patients.
  • Understanding and application of confidentiality.
Desirable criteria
  • Experienced of Drug and Alcohol Services
  • RCGP 1 Qualifcation

Skills and Abilities

Essential criteria
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work autonomous and part of a team
  • Ability to prioritise and organise own workload and that of other staff.
